Have you ever experienced the magical flapping of a butterfly's wings? They say it can be felt on the other side of the world. Well, we believe that the coming together of people at our butterfly release is just as enchanting. It is with great joy that we share with you some of our favourite moments from our recent releases in Louth and Bourne. And guess what? We have more incredible events coming up, right here in Boston and Spalding!
At The Butterfly Hospice Trust, we understand the importance of creating a space where people can celebrate the lives of their loved ones. Our signature butterfly release events are all about being there for the community and providing a truly special experience for everyone involved.
Our Louth Butterfly Release, held on a sunny May afternoon, was an intimate gathering that embraced the beauty of togetherness. Families joined us for various reasons. Some had even stumbled upon our banners and decided to make an entire afternoon out of the event in the exquisite Spout Yard. Our event stalls were entrusted to a remarkable family who, after losing their loved one last year, wanted to give back to the Butterfly Hospice. It's moments like these that make our event so unique and meaningful.
Our more recent Bourne Butterfly Release was truly one to remember. Despite a passing rain shower, people came together in the stunning parkland of the Wellhead to release their butterflies. The event attracted guests from near and far, spanning across Lincolnshire, other parts of the United Kingdom, and even the world!
We were thrilled to extend a warm welcome to a wonderful family from the USA who chose to honor their loved one by joining us. Their dedication will forever be etched in our memories, even as they return home. This goes to show that it doesn't matter where you come from or who you are—The Butterfly Hospice is here for each and every one of you.
